 This
is a great venue for either individuals or groups who want
a special experience. Our knowledgeable guide will paddle
along with you while pointing out Florida's native flora and
fauna and discussing some of the history and importance of
the Hillsborough River.
 This 4 1/2 mile paddling trip through
the Wilderness Park (a 16,000-acre preserve) takes approximately
three hours. Feel free to bring along your own soft drinks
and snacks or perhaps lunch. Don't forget your camera!
A scheduled interpretive guided trip is offered every Wednesday
at 11:30 a.m. The cost is $50 per person plus sales tax in
a tandem canoe. The cost is $75 per person plus sales tax
for a solo kayak. The fee includes your equipment rental and
guide. Reservations are required by 4:00 p.m. the Tuesday
before.
Non-scheduled guided trips are available with at least a 48-hour
advance reservation. The rates for non-scheduled trips are
as follows:
